Inside Sales Representative
darelle is a Vancouver based company focused on helping organizations create, sell, deliver and manage their raffle and 50/50 programs completely online using its' proprietary platform. darelle is the first company licensed under the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch of B.C. to manage online raffle and 50/50 draws.
darelle is looking for a highly motivated and talented Inside Sales Representative to join our team based out of Nanaimo, B.C. If you are a proven sales performer in technology and service sales and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, darelle may be rights for you.
The Inside Sales Representative
- Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers in an assigned territory
- Follow-up on all inbound leads by phone, email, and online chat
- Proactively manage opportunities with existing and prospective customers through all stages of the sales service cycle
- Coordinate and deliver dynamic web-based sales presentations and online product demonstrations
- Update all sales activity in the corporate CRM system and prepare reports as required by the Sales Manager
- Our clients are charitable and nonprofit organizations and a passion for the industry is essential. Experience in these fields is definitely an asset
- Energetic and enthusiastic with strong interpersonal, leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to write clearly and effectively; for example, in emails and price quotations

Software Engineer - Front End
Our front-end engineering team is building a user interface that works seamlessly cross-browser and cross-platform on mobile and desktop. It's an ambitious project with tons of interesting problems to solve. We're looking for engineers that are truly passionate about building amazing products and providing exceptional user experiences. We want someone that has mastered Javascript, CSS and HTML. We don't care where or what you studied, as long as you can wow us with your skills.
Responsibilities:- Work closely with designers and other engineers to implement new features and pages.
- Build efficient and reusable front-end abstractions and systems.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks.
- Participate in UI/UX design decisions.

Software Engineer - Back End
Our server/back-end engineering team is building a robust, highly scalable platform that will power our site for years and years to come. Working in our back-end engineering team means you'll be solving big problems with simple, elegant solutions. We're looking for engineers that love a challenge and want to apply their knowledge in python to create a truly exceptional product.
Responsibilities:- Work closely with front-end engineers to design and implement new features.
- Build internal and external API's.
- Maintain and improve our back-end search algorithms.

Software QA Engineer (Test Automation)
As a test automation/QA engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the robustness of our back-end, and validating that our user experience is as exceptional as it is simple. Working in our QA team means you'll be building test automation frameworks that will be used every day to validate our product. We are looking for an engineer that has exceptional attention to detail and who understands that testing and quality assurance are the backbone to a great product.
Responsibilities:- Use your QA background to develop detailed test plans for our platform.
- Use your development background to create automated regression test suites.
- Participate in tool selection for planning and tracking.
- Perform load, stress, and performance tests.
- Create custom test tools/harnesses to test our back-end platform.
- Perform manual tests as required.
- Several years of QA experience with web applications.
- Experience with Selenium or similar test automation tool.
- Experience with python or similar server-side scripting language.
- Experience in a linux environment.

Operations Engineer
As an operations engineer, you will have a huge impact on both our user experience and the rest of the engineering team. Working as an operations engineer means you will help design, build and monitor our applications and systems infrastructure. We are looking for an engineer that is passionate about building large, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems.
Responsibilities:- Ensure the scalability and reliability in our current and future systems.
- Play a key role in infrastructure decisions.
- Build tools to ease infrastructure provisioning and scaling.
- Continuously extend and improve system infrastructure to handle platform growth.
- Build tools to support continuous deployment.

- Expert linux system administration skills
- Experience with nginx, HAProxy, python, mercurial, memcached.
- Experience with cloud based systems (AWS, Rackspace, OpenStack, Linode, etc) as well as co-location services.
