1. TICKET INFORMATION:
Ticket orders will be available for purchase over the internet. We will also be able to process orders on a purchaser’s behalf at the offices of the (Chilliwack Minor Football Association). The Purchaser will receive, by email, a confirmation of the order with their ticket number(s) and tickets(s) attached and available for download and to print.A total of 9,500 Lottery tickets are available, with one (1) ticket for $20.00. Odds of winning are 1 in 9,500. Actual odds depend on actual number of tickets sold
Tickets may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia. The 50/50 draw will have 16,500 total tickets printed. 2,500 tickets printed at one (1) for $5.00, 4,000 tickets at four (4) tickets for $10.00 and, 10,000 tickets at 10 tickets for $20.00. Total jackpot can grow up to $42,500.00. Winners of the 50/50 draw will receive half of the proceeds. 50/50 tickets must be ordered at the same time as your Raffle Lottery ticket.A total of 16,500 tickets Lottery tickets available for the 50/50 with odds of winning 1 in 16,500. 2. ELIGIBILITYThe following people are not permitted to purchase tickets in this lottery: employees and their immediate family member(s) of Chilliwack Minor Football Association or employees and partners of Darelle Media Inc.A non-resident of British Columbia may purchase a ticket only if the entire payment transaction takes place while the person is physically in British Columbia and if the ticket or a receipt is issued at that time. Tickets or receipts will not be distributed to, emailed, mailed or otherwise sent to a non-resident’s third-party address in B.C. A non-resident winner of a prize is responsible for all costs associated with delivery of prize to the location the winner specifies, that is outside the province of British Columbia. When a resident of British Columbia is outside the province of British Columbia they may not place an order to purchase tickets. This restriction includes all methods of ordering tickets. Ticket Purchaser must be 19 years of age or older. If a winning ticket bears a minor’s name, the prize will be lawfully delivered to the minor’s parents, legal guardian or trustee. 3. CHANCES OF WINNING:The odds of winning are 1 in 9,500 to win the grand prize of $50,000.00. Winner of the 50/50 draw will win one half of the money for the 50/50 ticket sales. Actual odds are dependent on the number of tickets sold.
4. TAX INFORMATION:Prizes are awarded tax free in Canada. The price of tickets is not deductible as a charitable donation for tax purposes in Canada.
5. PERTINENT DRAW DATES:Cut-off times for ticket sales are at 9:00 PM on October 27, 2017. The final draw for all prizes will be held at 1:00 PM on October 28, 2017. Only tickets that have been paid for and/or verified as paid are eligible to be entered in the draw(s).
6. CASH EQUIVALENTS AND PRIZE DETAILS:There is one prize available to be won. Prizes must be accepted as awarded and must be claimed within one (1) year of the draw date. Any cost associated with delivery of prize are sole responsibility of the winner
7. ONLINE TICKET SALESChilliwack Minor Football Association has contracted the services of Darelle Media Inc. (www.darelle.com) to sell Lottery tickets through the Internet by way of a real-time processing and payment system and where the purchaser’s ticket is paid for immediately online. The transaction and payment processing system used for processing online ticket sales is Payment Card Industry (PCI) Security Standards Council compliant.Lottery tickets will be sent to the purchaser by email or through the Internet where the Purchaser will download and print a copy of the ticket.
In addition:
• Ticket purchasers must be physically in the province of B.C. when placing the order:
• They must be residents of B.C.; and
• The address given for tickets must be a valid B.C. address
Non-residents of British Columbia cannot purchase tickets by phone, fax or mail.
8. OTHER PERTINENT INFORMATION:The list of the winner will be published on the Chilliwack Minor Football Association website at www.chilliwackgiants.com and on www.darelle.com . The name of the winner will be emailed to every ticket purchaser and be available at www.chilliwackgiants.com.The records of Chilliwack Minor Football Association shall be deemed correct if there is a discrepancy in numbers. If a credit card payment is charged back, you will be contacted by the Payment Processor, the Chilliwack Minor Football Association, and/or Darelle Media Inc. and given opportunity to provide replacement payment according to the terms and conditions of the Payment Processor and or Darelle Media Inc. Any tickets issued will be considered invalid until replacement payment is received.All sales are final once the ticket number is assigned, and all sales are subject to credit approval. The Licensee reserves discretionary right not to accept entries. The Purchaser is responsible for proof-of-ownership of shared tickets. The liability of the Chilliwack Minor Football Association is limited to the ticket price paid. Winners will be notified directly by email, phone and/or mail by the Chilliwack Minor Football Association as to the prize they have won and how to claim.Winners consent to the release of their names by the Licensee. The list of winners will be published on the Chilliwack Minor Football Association website located at www.chilliwackgiants.com and at www.darelle.com If there is a discrepancy, the list and rules located at www.darelle.com shall be deemed correct. 9. PRIVACY:We respect your privacy. The Chilliwack Minor Football Association protects personal information and adheres to all legislative requirements with respect to privacy. We do not rent, sell, or trade our mailing lists. Information provided through ticket purchase will be used to deliver services and keep you informed on activities of the Chilliwack Minor Football Association including programs, services, special-events, funding needs, opportunities to volunteer or give and more, through periodic contacts.
