  1. TICKETS AVAILABLE:

Ticket will be available for purchase over the Internet and at multiple physical locations.  We will also be able to process orders on a purchaser’s behalf at the offices of the BC Wildlife Federation.  The Purchaser will receive, by email, a confirmation of the order with their ticket number(s) and tickets(s) attached and available for download and to print.  After the cut-off date, winners will be selected with a random draw from a barrel.

9,999 tickets are available with 1 ticket for $10.

  1. ELIGIBILITY:

The following people are not permitted to purchase tickets in this lottery: BC Wildlife Federation employees and their immediate family member(s) , or employees and partners of Darelle Media Inc. 

A non-resident of British Columbia may purchase a ticket only if the entire payment transaction takes place while the person is physically in British Columbia and if the ticket or a receipt is issued at that time. Tickets or receipts will not be distributed to, emailed, mailed or otherwise sent to a non-resident’s third-party address in B.C. When a resident of British Columbia is outside the province of British Columbia they may not place an order to purchase tickets. This restriction includes all methods of ordering tickets.

Ticket Purchaser must be 19 years of age or older. If a minor’s name appears on the ticket stub, the prize shall be delivered to the minor’s parents, Legal Guardian or Trustee. Know your limit, play within it. Problem Gambling help line 1 (888) 795-6111 www.bcresponsiblegambline.com

Non-residents of British Columbia may not order tickets by telephone, fax, Internet or mail.

  1. CHANCES OF WINNING:

Odds of winning are 1 in 9,999 to win the grand prize and 1 in 1,111 to win any prize.   Actual odds are dependent on the number of tickets sold

  1. TAX INFORMATION:

Prizes are awarded tax free in Canada. The price of tickets is not deductible as a charitable donation for tax purposes in Canada.

  1. DRAW DATES:  

The early bird draw will take place on February 28, 2017 commencing at 12:00pm at the Head Office of the BC Wildlife Federation at 101 – 9706 188th Street, Surrey, BC.  The final draws will be held on May 31, 2017 at 12:00pm.

 

Cut off times for tickets are 12:00pm on February 27, 2017 for the Early Bird Draw and 4:00pm on May 30, 2017 for the Final Draw.

 

Prizes may not be exactly as illustrated. Prizes must be accepted as awarded and must be redeemed within one year of the Final Draw. No substitutions or cash in lieu are permitted.

 

Only tickets that have been paid for and/or verified as paid are eligible to be entered into the respective draws.

 

 

  1. CASH OPTIONS AND PRIZE DETAILS:

Prizes are tax-free to Canadian residents.  Winners of prizes are responsible for licenses and insurance costs and for arranging to pick up the ATV. All other prizes will be delivered, free of charge, to winnersPrizes must be accepted as awarded and must be claimed within one (1) year of the draw date.  No substitutions are permitted by winners except where a cash option or alternate prize is specified. Prizes may not be exactly as shown.  Signed and witnessed Waiver Form

 

  1. ONLINE TICKET SALES

BC Wildlife Federation has contracted the services of Darelle Media Inc. (www.darelle.com) to sell Lottery tickets through the Internet by way of a real time processing and payment system and where the purchaser’s ticket is paid for immediately online. The transaction and payment processing system used for processing online ticket sales is Payment Card Industry (PCI) Security Standards Council compliant.

Lottery tickets will be sent to the purchaser by email or through the Internet where the Purchaser will download and print a copy of the ticket.

  1. OTHER PERTINENT INFORMATION:

All sales are final once the ticket number is assigned, and all sales are subject to credit approval. The Licensee reserves discretionary right not to accept entries.

Winners consent to the release of their names and photo by the Licensee. The list of major winners will be published on the BC Wildlife website at www.bcwf.bc.ca and on www.darelle.com within a week of the draw.
