The Cerebral Palsy Association of British Columbia was started in 1954 by a group of concerned parents and medical professionals who wanted to assist children living with cerebral palsy to reach their maximum potential within society. Today we are an independent charitable organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors working to serve 10,000 BC residents living with CP. We provide support, education, and information throughout BC. Our mission is: We fulfill our mission through various programs that are designed for people at different stages of life, such as: our “Dance without Limits” program for children, adaptive yoga program for youth, campership subsidies, educational bursaries, advocacy support, legal workshops, Accessing CSIL, Healthy Eating, Healthy Life, family and individual support and equipment assistive devices program. The funds we raise help support these invaluable programs.
