SPEC is a non-profit, charitable and volunteer-driven organization founded in 1969. We are one of Canada’s oldest environmental non-profits. SPEC provides Lower Mainland communities with outreach programs and open education workshops and events that demonstrate and motivate sustainable solutions and lifestyles. Our goal is to inspire individuals, households and businesses to move toward and build greener cities and a healthier environment together, and we encourage positive dialogue across different perspectives.
